We have successfully completed countless new construction, conversion, repair, and maintenance projects, including cruiseship conversions, work for the Canadian Navy, repair and maintenance work on deepsea vessels and containerships, as well as new construction and repair work on ferries, tugs, fishing vessels, Arctic Class and research vessels, barges and yachts of all sizes and types.

Located on the North Shore of Vancouver Harbour, just north of the Canada/US border on Vancouver’s sheltered deep-water port, Vancouver Drydock operates two floating drydocks with lifting capacities of 36,000 tonnes and 30,000 tonnes. It features a heavy machine shop with two 40-tonne overhead traveling cranes and lathes capable of handling shafts up to 18 meters. Vancouver Drydock takes pride in delivering quality repair services on time and on budget.

In business since 1902, and located on a 35 acre site on the North Shore of Burrard Inlet in Vancouver Harbour, Vancouver Shipyards have built a reputation for quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction in all services, ranging from technical design to construction, maintenance and repair for all types of vessels. The yard’s full service facilities include a SyncroLift marine elevator of 1500 tonnes capacity, drydock space for up to 12 vessels, major steel forming, large fabrication and assembly halls, as well as a 20,000 square foot totally enclosed paint facility.

Victoria Shipyards operates at the federally-owned Esquimalt Graving Dock with access to 2,000 ft. of deep water wharfage and a 25 acre production site serviced by three railed cranes linking the operations of the steel fabrication, machine, pipe, sheet metal, and electrical workshops. Victoria Shipyards perform a wide range of repair services for vessels up to 100,000 DWT.
